Gary Barlow to present one off Eddie The Eagle 'Fly' soundtrack concert.
On Friday 18th March, London’s One Mayfair will play host to an incredible one-off live music event to celebrate the release of Fly - Songs Inspired By The Film Eddie The Eagle. Gary Barlow, one of the UK’s most successful and well-respected singer-songwriters, will bring together the stars of the film Eddie The Eagle, alongside some of the biggest music legends from the 80’s who all feature on the brand new album, released on the 18th March.
This exclusive live show is the ultimate homage to one of the icon’s of the 80’s, Eddie The Eagle Edwards.
In what promises to be a unique and very special night of music and entertainment, the audience will be treated to performances from Holly Johnson, Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones and Go West who will all perform their new songs from the album, Fly, as well as a selection of their biggest and most well-known hits including Gold (Tony Hadley), Power of Love (Holly Johnson), What Is Love (Howard Jones) and many more.

The album, the brainchild of Take That’s Gary Barlow, feature some of the biggest stars from this incredible period in pop music history. An album of new studio recordings and original songs which perfectly capture the mood of the era and the struggles faced by Michael “Eddie the Eagle” Edwards and his quest for Olympic stardom.
Eddie the Eagle follows the realisation of the childhood dream of Michael Edwards (a.k.a Eddie), and his unflinching determination to become Great Britain’s first Olympic ski-jumper. Reluctantly aided by former ski-jumper Bronson Peary as his coach, Eddie is unwavering in his quest to reach the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. Eddie the Eagle is an uplifting, inspirational story that celebrates human spirit, passion, and one man’s refusal to accept defeat.
Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) stars as Eddie and Hugh Jackman(Wolverine) as coach Bronson Peary. The film is released in the UK on 1st April and is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Sunshine on Leith) and produced by Matthew Vaughn(Kingsman: The Secret Service) alongside Adam Bohling, David Reid, Valerie Van Galder and Rupert Maconick.
