Channel 5 have released details of this year's Big Brother housemates and they look set to give the Love Islanders a run for their money in the looks stakes.

In a preview video posted on social media, viewers get a glimpse of who will be entering the Big Brother house later this week.  They include a vlogger, a farmer, a fast food waitress, a semi-pro footballer, a bricklayer, a call centre worker, a spirtual advisor and a consultant.

Once again producers have cast a young set of housemates, with most of them in their twenties and nobody over the age of 32.   Producers Endemol are determined to make the series a success by appealing to younger fans an viewers who enjoy Love Island, Ex on the Beach and similar series.

Channel 5 boss Ben Frow has already confirmed Big Brother will not air on his channel next year and it looks certain the show will move to another channel, such as E4, MTV or even an on demand channel like Amazon Prime.

The official website tells fans one housemate will be given an advantage during the launch show, and viewers can vote for who gets it now, via http://bigbrother.channel5.com/polling

Big Brother launches this Friday at 9pm on Channel 5.
