Damon Albarn and Paul Simonon confirmed for Jo Whiley's Radio 2 show.
Damon Albarn and Paul Simonon are confirmed join Jo Whiley on her BBC Radio 2 show to discuss the latest album from The Good, The Bad & The Queen - Merrie Land. The Good, The Bad & The Queen are a supergroup comprising of Damon, Paul, Simon Tong and Tony Allen. The group released their first self-titled album in 2007, following it up after a long wait earlier this year.
Damon is, of course, best known for being the front-man of Britpop defining band Blur - as well as working as part of virtual band Gorillaz and his solo material. Paul Simonon played bass with The Clash and is credited with coming up with the band's name. He also was part of the band Havana 3am.
Plus Jo handpicks her favourite new music from all genres of the musical spectrum and quality vintage songs too.
Hear it next Wednesday, 24 April 2019 from 7pm on BBC Radio 2.
