Celebritain's Ibiza 2018 preview: The best of what we know so far...

What with all the recent talk of Beast from the East, we think it’s about time we focused on something a bit more exciting…how about owning the White Isle in style!

It’s still pretty early in the calendar, so there’s a lot of TBC business, but we’ve managed to dig out a few events to put in your diary early!

Kicking off with a couple of opening parties at Ibiza Rocks, featuring Rudimental (1 June) and 90s ledge Craig David (2 June – what was he up to on Saturdays in that song again?!). But if you think there ain’t no party like an Ibiza Rocks Hotel pool party, you’re in luck – both acts are back for pool parties throughout the summer on Thursdays and Tuesdays respectively.

The people behind last year’s shiny new club, Hi Ibiza, have drafted in trance legend Armin Van Buuren for their Wednesday opening party (20 June), and he’ll be sticking around on Wednesdays until 19 September. Hi Ibiza has a busy calendar, including Eric Prydz in residency on Tuesdays (10 July – 25 September) and a weekly Glitterbox party on Fridays (1 June – 28 September). With a changing line-up, watch out for the likes of The Shapeshifters, Armin Van Helden, Roger Sanchez and Basement Jaxx.

Ushuaia plan to own Thursdays as DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs winner for the last two years, Martin Garrix, will be a weekly visitor. In addition, Tuesdays at Ushuaia will be coming over all Belgian festival with Tomorrowland Presents Garden of Madness (June – September).

Just before your pen runs out of ink, add Amnesia to your party list, as they’re set to welcome Chase & Status and special guests (including Pendulum and Sub Focus) every Tuesday from June to September.

Finally for now, we know BBC Radio 1 will be back on the White Isle in August - we'll have some big news on that for you very soon...

We’ll be keeping our eyes on party isle events as they’re announced, so watch this space. In the meantime, maybe bank some beauty sleep - you might not be getting much of it this summer!
