Live Review: Rod Stewart is still the greatest showman as he delights at the Molineux.
From the moment we saw the incredible set, we knew we were going to witness something special from Rod Stewart.
Now 74 years of age, Rod really is a remarkable showman, showing today’s popstars how it's done. His energy, vocals and performance remain a class act, and infront of a sold out audience at Wolverhampton’s Molineux stadium, he looks like he’s having a blast.
Sir Rod’s lengthy career means any concert of his is like a greatest hits event for his fans, who were up on their feet from the very beginning to the very end of his set which packed in a whopping 23 songs!
Opening with Infatuation, Rod delighted with a set-list including Maggie May, Do You Think I’m Sexy?, I don’t want to talk about it, Tonight’s the Night, The First Cut is the Deepest and of course, Sailing.
Drummers, dancers, fireworks, this had it all.
Rod really did prove he is STILL the master of ceremonies and delivered a concert that today’s chart-toppers should have been present and taking notes at.
