TV: Here's why football fans will be glued on BBC One on 11 August
Saturday 11 August is going to be a date football fans wont want to miss as the BBC kicks off the new season.
As the new football season approaches, Football Focus returns with an in-depth look at the sport’s biggest stories of the summer and beyond.
Dan Walker and guests preview all the opening weekend Premier League fixtures including Manchester United’s Friday night game against 2015-16 champions Leicester.
The team will review England’s run to the semi-final of the World Cup, and the prospects of the three newly-promoted Premier League sides Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham will also be assessed.

Jason Mohammad presents all of today’s football results, along with reports and reaction from the big games which includes Huddersfield against Chelsea.
Two of the newly-promoted sides are also in action as Fulham host Crystal Palace and Cardiff travel to Bournemouth.

Newly promoted trio Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham all make their much-awaited top flight returns with Wolves hosting Everton, Cardiff travelling to Bournemouth and Fulham facing a Crystal Palace side now managed by their former boss Roy Hodgson.
