Review: Here Come The Boys shows your Strictly favourites at their very best! ★★★★★

Strictly’s three leading men Aljaz Skorjanec, Giovanni Pernice and Gorka Marquez aren’t putting their feet up this summer, they’re bringing all the magic of the smash hit dance series to the stage in brand new show, Here Come The Boys.

Outside the restrictions of the BBC studio (it’s much smaller than you think), the lads are able to flex their dance muscles and show what they can really do, in this energetic production that will leave you more breathless than them.

There’s a series of dance battles, showcasing the best of their abilities across contemporary, commercial and classic ballroom dances to the soundtrack of a live singer (formerly of Clean Bandit) and a resident DJ.   They’re also supported by a huge cast of supporting dancers who deserve credit for their awesome work too.

As with Strictly, the music helps make the show and there really is something for everybody as our three heroes perform solo routines and group numbers.  Cleverly, there’s an audience vote, meaning you get to decide the winner of each dance category!

Describing the tour in his own words, Aljaž said, “Having worked on Strictly Come Dancing with Gorka and Giovanni for the past four years, I know we are going to deliver a truly incredible show for audiences all over the UK. And while we might all be the best of friends, the show’s competitive element means that there will be no love lost when we battle it out on the dance floor to win the audience vote. Serious bragging rights are at stake!”

Our Verdict:  Here Come the Boys is brilliant fun, tonnes of energy,  a fantastic soundtrack and three of the most skilled dancers in the world having a blast.  Go see!  ★★★★★
