Review: Trainspotting Live at Curve Leicester

You've seen the film, now see the stage show.  Trainspotting Live has rolled into Leicester, and we went along for the ride.

This punchy production recaptures the passion and controversy of the famous novel and globally successful film, and repackages it into an immersive production – the audience are literally part of the show, including the notorious ‘Worst Toilet in Scotland’ scene.”

The show lasts around 75 minutes and it will fly. Irvine Welsh himself has been quoted on twitter saying “Trainspotting Live is the best way to experience Trainspotting”.

The actors were realistic, convincing and remained in character despite occasional and unexpected interactions with members of the audience.

Expect nudity, sex, drugs and glow sticks.
