Bottle Rocket bring big names to Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival.

Bottle Rocket Comedy have announced their programme for this year’s edition of Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival (3rd - 21st February). Bottle Rocket returns with a bumper line up of over 50 shows of top comedians in three venues (Firebug, The Y, Duffy’s Bar).

The line up features such well known names from television and radio as Chris Ramsey, Robert Newman, Richard Herring, Roisin Conaty, Pappy’s and Alun Cochrane plus many more.

New comedic talent is also well represented with such rising stars as Edinburgh Best Show Nominee Kieron Hodgson, sketch group Daphne and political comedian Matt Forde. Bottle Rocket Comedy will host a series of ‘Best of’ shows at The Y featuring festival legend Jarred Christmas (5th February), magician superstar Pete Firman (13th Feb) and star of the Royal variety Show, The Boy with Tape on His Face (19th Feb) Throughout the festival, The Y will also play host to touring shows including a show featuring stars from QI (No Such Thing as a Fish on 21st February) and unique improvised comedy in the style of Jane Austen (Austentatious - 14th February).

Established in 2005, Bottle Rocket is Leicester’s longest running comedy club. Bottle Rocket Comedy events have been a proving ground for future stars; previous acts have included Michael McIntyre, Rhod Gilbert, Mark Watson, John Bishop, Russell Howard, Micky Flanagan, Jason Manford and Stewart Lee.
